Energy efficient technologies show real value during storms

Phylllis Cuttino, the Director of Clean Energy for the Pew Charitable Trusts, outlines the success of Combined Heat and Power technology during Superstorm Sandy. In her story “Energy Efficiency Means Security, Jobs, and Competitiveness” Cuttino points out that combined heat and power systems not only keep the lights on, but they save energy and costs, which in the long run makes businesses more competitive.
