Discount Energy Purchase
Aegis Energy has a special program to provide you with discounted energy costs. This allows you to take advantage of energy cost saving measures from our cogeneration system while avoiding expense of significant capital investments.
We install, maintain, fuel and operate the modular cogeneration system at no cost to your facility. We interface the combined heat and power system with your electrical and mechanical systems. The generated electrical energy from the system is metered and delivered to your facility at a discount from your prevailing electrical rates amounting to an annual energy savings.
We are so confident in our systems and our Shared Savings Program that we will guarantee a minimal annual savings to assure the success of the project.
Your facility has the option to purchase the installation at any time throughout the life of the agreement at a decreasing value (100% during Year One to 30% at the end of the negotiated term as the plant is amortized).
The program allows you to get the system operating right away and saving money now with the same dollars currently expended for the monthly utility electric bills while amortizing the system.
PROGRAM FEATURES & BENEFITS
1. Electricity generated by the cogeneration system is delivered to you at a discount to the prevailing electric utility rates.
2. The heat generated by the Combined heat and power system is delivered to your facility at the same cost incurred to produce the heat from your boiler. The building heating costs are unaffected
3. Energy savings are gauranteed.
4. You may purchase the cogeneration system at any time throughout the agreement at a decreasing value.
Your facility is free of all risk.
Your facility is not responsible for the cogeneration system nor its operation.
All scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs for the cogeneration system is covered by Aegis including the associated expense.
Your facility will continue to operate utilizing its existing heating plant and utility electric service even if the cogeneration system is being serviced.
Your facility benefits from positive public awareness. Each 75KW cogeneration module conserves the equivalent of more than 20,000 gallons of oil annually at a utility power plant.
